In addition to an evolving model designed to take kids from 1:1 in-home therapy to group and social settings to the community and to school, many services are offered as standalone consultation services and as part of packages. Let's figure out what your child and your family need and map out a plan to get there!
Bridging the Gap Model
This model initially involves in-home intensive family training and support, both with and without the child and a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (Melissa) will be working directly with your child.
As readiness skills grow, RBTs began to work with your child in-home and Melissa moves into a supervisory role while still providing ongoing family support. This allows for generalization and expansion of skills with continued quality.
The next step is intermittent exposure to social and group settings, in community settings. Melissa has partnered with several community providers to ensure safe and successful next steps.
Then we'll move into clinic based, group services, with A Balanced Approach or as part of a referral process.
The ultimate goal is to use a balanced and creative approach to get young learners with involved caregivers ready for school!
